Accessibility Statement

Statement date: 20 August 2025

Conformance status: Partially conformant (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)

Introduction

CHECK POINT S.P.A. is committed to ensuring that its websites https://check-point-store.it and https://check-point-store.com are accessible to as many people as possible, in accordance with EU Directive 2016/2102, the EN 301 549 standard, and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

Current status

The websites were launched in 2025 on the Shopify platform and designed with basic accessibility criteria. A preliminary analysis (automatic tools such as WAVE and Lighthouse) identified:

Critical barriers

  • Insufficient color contrast across several interface elements (WCAG 1.4.3).
  • Empty links or links without clear textual labels (WCAG 2.4.4).
  • Images (including linked images) without meaningful alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Form labels not correctly associated with inputs (WCAG 3.3.2).

Medium-severity barriers

  • Heading structure not always coherent (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • Redundant or weakly descriptive alt text.
  • Duplicate or poorly descriptive links.
  • Small font sizes in some sections.

Minor barriers

  • Some ARIA roles/attributes could be improved.
  • Non-critical layout redundancies.

Limitations

In 2025 there is no dedicated budget for a comprehensive audit and broad remediation. This statement is published for transparency towards users.

Commitments for 2026

  • Carry out a full accessibility audit (automatic tools and manual testing) within 2026.
  • Prioritize remediation of critical barriers (contrast, alt text, links, and forms).
  • Reach at least 60% of WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
  • Update this statement with the progress made.
